Tammy works in all aspects of DMC. As Co-Owner and Vice-President she oversees the direction of sales & marketing, administration, event promotions and food & beverage operations. She has worked and co-owned DMC since 1993. A graduate of Tarleton State University (Part of the A&M System). She holds a Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences Degree in Business Occupations.
She is a member of Zeta Lambda Chapter of Delta Mu Delta the National Honor Society in Business Administration and was recognized as being top in her COBA class.
Very active in numerous communities, she has served on the Glen Rose Convention & Visitors Bureau Advisory Board, is a past member of Earth Promise/Fossil Rim Board of Directors, past President Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was twice elected Woman of the Year and Chapter Sweetheart. Tammy is a Founding Father and serves as Executive Director of the Midland County Fair and a Director of the Executive Board. She also serves on the SEAM (Sports Entertainment Association Midland) Board of Directors, along with serving as Publicity Chairman for Beta Mu Delta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is proud to represent the PAFRA, Professional Armed Forces Rodeo Association as their Sponsorship-Marketing "Boots on the Ground" Coordinator of the annual World Finals. She is a member of the and TAF&E, Texas Association of Fair's and Events and Texas Association of Venues and Facilities. She has been awarded numerous Marketing Excellence Awards.
J. Rhett Lively
Admin Assistant/Box Office Manager of the Midland County Horseshoe Arena, Pavilion and Amphitheater. Coming to DMC following a career change, he has gained much of his
experience on the job with the help of our talented team.
Currently Rhett is managing bot the Midland Horseshoe Website as well as the Midland County Fair website, acting as Treasurer for the Midland County Fair, overseeing
box-office operations for the Midland County Horseshoe through E-Tix’s system, and several other projects at any given time.
Rhett is married to Bailey Lively and they expect to have foster children in their home soon. In his spare time, Rhett enjoys cooking, writing, and volunteering.
Richard “Rick” Woody, Facility Manager
Midland County Horseshoe Arena & Pavilion, Midland Texas
Richard "Rick" Woody serves as Facility Manager of the Midland Horseshoe Arena & Pavilion. Rick came to DMC with over eighteen years experience in the public facility management field. He received his Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio, International Business and Marketing. His BBA is in Management, graduating Cum Laude. Professionally, Rick graduated from I.A.A.M. School for Public Assembly Facility Managers in 94’95. His experience is extensive and most recently includes Building Manager at University of Texas at San Antonio University Center where he managed 14 event rooms of various capacities and hosted over 3000 events per year. He is also returning to Midland as he previously held the Operations Manager position at the Midland Center. DMC is proud of his many achievements including being awarded “City Council Award for Service”: City of Temple, “Confederate Air Force Service Award”: Midland, Texas and “Celebration of the Arts-Committee Chair-“Outstanding Volunteer”. Rick is married to Laurie, they have 6 Children and soon to be "10" grandchildren. If he has spare time…he enjoys tournament bass fishing and music where he is a percussionist. Rick currently serves on the Midland County Fair Steering Committee and is a Founding Father of the annual event. He is a 2010 LAEC Footing Acadmey graduate and a member of Texas Association of Venues and Facilities.
