Congratulations Mindie Burch and Some Six Starlight for winning Reserve World Champion at the APHA WORLD SHOW. Mindie competed in the Amateur Limited Working Cowhorse Class. Mindi has been a frequent Somervell County Expo Center equestrian event participant and the staff of Somervell County Expo and DMC sends "CONGRATS"!!!

For a town with a population of only 2308 people, Glen Rose is one of the busiest little towns in Texas.  A great deal of the activity is centered in, or spins off from the Somervell County Expo Center and Texas Amphitheatre, which is located a short 45 minutes from Dallas-Ft. Worth right on Highway 67. Mike Dooley, Facility Manager and President of Dooley Management Company along with Tammy Dooley, Vice-President Marketing and Promotions, DMC are busy year round with events that range from a bridal fair to trade shows and western sports.  They manage several such facilities in the state.
