Midland County Horseshoe Arena
Pavilion – Amphitheater

A Dooley Management Company Venue

The Midland County Horseshoe Arena – Pavilion – Amphitheater, Midland County’s Premier Multi-Purpose Event Facility.

The Horseshoe opened March 4, 2006. This Multi-Award-Winning Venue has played host to Championship rodeos, equestrian competitions, concerts, sporting events, trade shows, conventions and wedding receptions. The Midland County Fair has become known as the Horseshoe’s Showcase Event. The fair, now in its 10th year had attendance of over 22,000 fair-goers in 2018.
In 2014 the Horseshoe expansion of the Livestock Barn allowed more space for agriculture events. On Feb. 7, 2015 the Horseshoe completed a major construction project adding a new level of excitement with the addition of the Entertainment and Meeting Mega Star… the Horseshoe Pavilion! The Pavilion, with its movable walls, can host events from 1000 to 6,800 patrons, offering usable space of 52,000 square feet. Even more opportunity was created with the Pavilion adjunct venue – the Amphitheater. The Amphitheater opened July 29, 2016. The Amphitheater floor and lawn seating can accommodate up to 4,500. The Pavilion and Amphitheater share common amenities such as: show power, dressing and production rooms, box office, rest rooms and parking. This configuration is unique among American venues of its size.
4.9 million in capital projects for the complex is scheduled for 2019. Including the addition of an Amphitheater VIP Area, improving restrooms and concession areas plus additional seating in the Horseshoe Main Arena along with 50 additional RV hook-ups.
The Midland County Horseshoe Arena-Pavilion-Amphitheater is owned by Midland County and has been managed by Dooley Management Company since 2005. Dooley Management Company was awarded a contract extension through 2024.
